Harbor Freight Tools

I spent over $2k in this store, and at the time I didn’t have space for my purchases, so I asked politely if they could keep my tools, they said they could, I told them I’d be back 2 days later to pick it up. I went back and all of my stuff that I had already purchased was put back on the shelves of the store, I spent over 3 hours in that store getting everything I needed. Just to come to that, I asked to speak to a Manager, the Manager I spoke with was also very very rude, her name was Alicia. Then I asked if i could get some help with getting my stuff back to checkout again, in which she proceeded to tell me that nobody was allowed to help me find my products that I had already paid for. I am disgusted at the way she handled the unfortunate event. She also treats the employees like they’re children, barking orders at them left and right, I could hear her steaming across the store, that’s not how any store manager should perform, and Harbor Freight should be ashamed to even have hired such a coward. Her original location is Hutchison. I hope i never have to see her in another Harbor Freight.

I had a problem, and instead of just coming in to return the item I just wanted to fix the problem. An associate by the name of “Allison” came up to me and asked if she could help with anything and I described what I needed help with, I kind of felt like I was over analyzing it and probably was having an “operator error”, which I kind of was but anyhow she contacted the right person that goes by the name of “Kyle”. So, Kyle, being the helpful person that he is, helped us solve the problem. Therefore I’m really happy with this particular Harbor Freight store. To be a problem solver not only takes skill, but also patience. Kyle is a great problem solver! Be more like Kyle.

I really miss when Reed worked at this store. He was a fantastic employee and always worked so hard. This location is amazing!!

the store is nice and clean and usually I have a good experience, but after this morning’s interaction, they’ll be lucky if I continue to do business here. Asked the associate for a color of floor jack that was in the back, got immediate attitude that he had to go to the back and get it, then when I tried to check out using my 20% off coupon for the Inside Track program, I was told rudely that the customer lookup system was down and that my coupon wouldn’t be honored because they have no way to verify that I was an inside track member. Zero willingness to help or apology for their system being down. I asked if i could get a rain check or if they’d honor it once the system came back up since it ended today, and I was told i’d just have to try to come back to the store later and see if it was back up but otherwise I was out of luck. The poor level of customer service that I received today as well as losing a $200 sale over a $24 discount is insane to me. I understand finding good help is difficult right now but some acceptable customer service training for the employee working this morning would go a long way.

We were having issues with how we loaded up our hitch basket. Not only did the staff give excellent product advice but also helped us set up our cargo. If you are stranded with road issues this is the place to go!
